Dan and his wife Sue have owned a small farm in Buffalo Township since 1976. Upon retirement in 1995 he joined the Township Planning Commission for a six year term. He also served a two year tenure in Co-Chairing and co-coordinating the Joint Buffalo-Clinton Comprehensive Plan which was approved in 2006. He possesses forty years of successful experience in the Military, Private Enterprise, Government, and College Administration. He was a 28-year CCAC veteran and former dean of continuing education at the Allegheny Campus. During his tenure at CCAC, Dr. Przybylek was instrumental in forming the Culinary Arts Program, the Downtown Center, the Homewood-Brushton Branch, the Institute for Advanced Technology, the Philip Murray Institute of Labor Studies, the Public Safety Institute, the Robotics Program and hundreds of other continuing education programs.
